Matiss Kaza Joins Sofia Carrillo's Stop-Motion Feature 'Insectarium'

Matīss Kaža, known for his work on the Oscar-winning animated feature 'Flow,' has joined the production team of 'Insectarium,' the upcoming feature debut of Mexican stop-motion filmmaker Sofia Carrillo. Kaža is stepping in as a producer alongside Montreal-based Productions Ocho. The project also includes 'Roma' producer Pimienta Films and Spain's Inicia. Carrillo is celebrated for her expertise in stop-motion animation, and 'Insectarium' has been highly anticipated within the industry. The film marks a significant step forward in Carrillo's career as she transitions to feature-length storytelling.
