Sony Animation and Amazon MGM Studios announce fifth Hotel Transylvania film

Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon MGM Studios have confirmed a partnership to produce the fifth installment in the Hotel Transylvania franchise, titled The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 8, 2027. The collaboration follows the series' previous entries, with the fourth film having been licensed during the COVID‑19 theater closures. The new sequel will continue the animated comedy’s storyline and return to theaters as part of Sony's long‑term franchise plans.
