Anitta to Star in Globo Film

Brazilian pop icon Anitta is set to star in a feature film produced by media giant Globo. The movie, which has not been titled yet, will begin filming on June 1 at Estúdios Globo in Rio de Janeiro. Anitta created the project and will play the lead role. Amauri Soares, executive director of Estúdios Globo and TV Globo, is expected to announce the production during a panel at Rio2C.
