Oblivion Remastered Gets Switch 2 Release Date

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has officially been given a release date for the Switch 2. The remastered version of the 2006 RPG classic will launch on August 11, 2026, following its initial release last year on PC, PS5, and Xbox. Bethesda and Nintendo announced the date through a promotional video featuring the Adoring Fan character. The game, which has been praised for its improvements over the original, will now be available for players to enjoy on the go. However, the game's development partner, Virtuos, faced layoffs shortly after the initial release, raising concerns about support for the project.
