12 Tage Sommer
Synopsis
Marcel and Felix embark on a twelve-day hiking journey on foot with a donkey from Munich to Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze. Intended as an educational experience for Felix, a pubescent son, the trip turns into a challenging and humorous endurance test for both father and son. Felix grapples with his own emotions and his strained relationship with his largely absent father, while Marcel confronts a new chapter in his life. As the donkey, Maria, steadily sets the pace, the two stubborn individuals are forced to rely on themselves. Alongside the physical challenges of the mountain trek, they encounter a variety of unusual people who mirror their own desires and fears, gradually drawing them closer together.
