Synopsis
In 1898, fifty Spanish soldiers arrive in the small Filipino village of Baler to reconstruct a military outpost. Despite the near defeat of the Spanish Empire and the ongoing conflict with Filipino forces and their American allies, the garrison endures an eleven-month siege. They become the last Spanish unit to surrender.
