“More Puppy Love”
Synopsis
Rod and Katherine Wright are settling into their retirement in Florida, though their feelings about it differ. Rod is struggling with boredom, while Katherine feels homesick, especially as Christmas approaches and she misses her children. They find comfort in their friendship with their new neighbor, Lisa, who shares their love for golden retrievers. Rod and Katherine’s dog, Jake, has formed a playful trio with Lisa’s puppies, Mario, Luigi, and Pasquale. However, during a walk, Jake and the puppies cause a disruption when they interrupt a wedding proposal. Lisa is particularly embarrassed to discover that the proposer is David, her former boyfriend and longtime friend. Despite the awkwardness, it’s clear to everyone around them that David and Lisa are still meant to be together—except for David and Lisa themselves. As David’s wedding draws near, they must decide whether to move on or rekindle their relationship. With the support of Rod and Katherine, and the help of four affectionate pups, it may turn out to be a memorable Christmas.
