Synopsis

Nerdy Walter Paisley, a clumsy busboy at a beatnik café who feels out of place among the cool crowd, tries to impress his attractive coworker, Carla, by sculpting a bust of her. When his clumsiness accidentally causes the death of his landlady's cat, he panics and buries the body under a layer of plaster. However, when Carla and her friends praise the resulting artwork, Walter is inspired to create larger and more elaborate pieces using the same method.
