Synopsis
On Christmas Eve, Marla's dog goes missing, prompting her to reunite with her ex-boyfriend, Max, to search for him. As the dog leads them on a search that spans the entire day and night through their hometown in North Carolina, the former couple encounters people, places, and memories tied to the Christmases they once shared together.
