A Family Circus Christmas
Synopsis
The family is in the process of decorating their Christmas tree when Daddy notices that the star made by his father is missing. When Billy asks Mommy why this makes Daddy sad, she explains that the star was crafted by his father, their late Granddad, who is in Heaven. Jeffy then experiences a vivid dream involving Santa, and in the dream, he asks Santa to bring Granddad back from Heaven for Christmas to cheer up Daddy. When Billy discovers that Jeffy truly believes this might happen, he becomes worried that Jeffy's Christmas will be ruined, as Santa cannot fulfill such a request. Mommy attempts to explain the impossibility of this to Jeffy after Dolly tells her what Jeffy believes, but Jeffy becomes upset and refuses to listen. That night, Jeffy is visited by both Santa and Granddad.
