A Haul in One
Synopsis
Popeye and Bluto are, surprisingly, friends and business partners in a moving company. (Perhaps this is why Popeye is not squinting in this scene.) Olive makes the mistake of hiring them for her move. She hasn't finished packing yet, so the two men, instantly smitten upon meeting her, begin competing to help her. Once packing is complete, they continue their rivalry by trying to move increasingly impressive piles of her belongings. Popeye easily wins these contests, even after Bluto locks him in the moving van at one point. At the end, Bluto punches Popeye into a piano and then into a table; Popeye, who hardly seems to need it, eats a can of spinach and then defeats Bluto.
