When bumbling Inspector Jacques Clouseau is assigned to protect a prime suspect in a high‑profile murder, his well‑meaning but chaotic antics turn the case into a comedy of errors that threatens to claim more victims unless he can catch the killer before his own incompetence does.

Synopsis
Inspector Jacques Clouseau, who has taken a liking to the accused maid Maria Gambrelli, inadvertently transforms a simple murder investigation into a chaotic sequence of mishaps, much to the frustration of his irritable superior, Charles Dreyfus, as the number of casualties continues to rise.
