Synopsis
During a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, Edison Films captured a remarkable and dramatic image of a storm at sea. The photograph was taken by securing the camera to the after bridge of the *Kaiserine Maria Theresa*, a ship belonging to the North German Lloyd Line, during one of its most turbulent voyages. The image is described as the most extraordinary storm picture ever photographed and was taken under considerable risk. (Edison Films, 1901)
