Synopsis

Veterinarian Britta, recently separated from her boyfriend and open to a fresh start, spends the summer in Brittany with a friendly couple. While out after a rain shower, she discovers what seems to be her dream house, only to accidentally run over local fisherman Yves on her bike. Unbeknownst to her, Yves is also interested in buying the house, which is being sold through an anonymous bidding process. Yves and his father, struggling to make a living from fishing, hope to use the vacant neighboring house to establish a second income through holiday apartments. Initially annoyed by Britta, Yves gradually warms to her due to her fearless and optimistic attitude. However, when he learns that she is his competitor in the bidding, he attempts to dissuade her by criticizing the area in front of the German doctor. As feelings develop between them, the question arises: should he choose the house or love?
