A Taste of Crime
Synopsis
Laure Grenadier, a former starred chef, now focuses on her career as a food critic through the online channel she created. She maintains a deliberate distance from her ex-partner and the father of her daughter, Amandine, Nicolas Garnier, a police captain, due to lingering resentment over his departure for a younger woman. When a series of crimes targeting restaurant owners in Lyon begins, Laure's resolve is tested. Nicolas and his new assistant, Baptiste, recognize the value of Laure’s position within Lyon’s tightly knit restaurant community and the respect she commands among regional chefs for their investigation. Motivated by personal ties—her uncle is the first victim—Laure agrees to act as an informant for them.
