Synopsis
Sara Westbrook, an uptight French chef, finds her upscale café, Chez Varenne, suddenly overshadowed by the opening of The Five Alarm Grill, a rowdy new restaurant next door run by a group of firemen. Led by handsome former firefighter Gill Callahan and his friend Danny, the new eatery quickly becomes a hit, while Sara and her pastry chef, Patsy, struggle to attract customers. Sara's feelings toward Gill begin to change when she meets his ten-year-old daughter, Hannah, who is determined to bring them together despite the tension between her father and Sara. As Hannah plays matchmaker, Gill and Sara must navigate the growing attraction between them while dealing with the competitive pressures of their businesses.
