Aas Ka Panchhi

Rajan "Raju" Khanna lives with his elderly father Nihalchand, his mother, and his younger sister. He studies Arts in college and is in a relationship with Neena Bakshi, a fellow student. After graduating, Rajan's father wants him to join the same firm where he works, but Rajan is determined to pursue a career in the military. His father opposes the decision, and after suffering a heart attack, he insists that Rajan take the job. Rajan agrees and begins working in his father's office, but he struggles in the role. Following his father's death, he leaves to join the military. When he returns home, he finds that things have changed. Neena is engaged to a wealthy, handsome young doctor, and her father refuses to consider Rajan as a suitor. Feeling disheartened, Rajan returns to the military and is sent to a war zone. There, he volunteers to rescue a senior officer, navigating enemy lines to do so. To his shock, he discovers that the officer is Major Bakshi. Both men realize that only one of them can survive and return to base.
