Synopsis
Eighteen-year-old Angelina moves between school, a dead-end job, her abusive boyfriend, and home, where she spends her time cleaning up after her alcoholic mother and shielding her younger sister from their threatening stepfather. After planning an escape to San Francisco with her best friend Andrew, she soon begins dating a cocaine-addicted lawyer and becomes involved in the local porn industry, where she is mentored by lesbian director Margaret, who shows more than just professional interest in Angelina.
