Synopsis

Goofy narrates his journey to Africa, where he is joined by various tour guides in his search for wild game. During his trip, he encounters several animals while camping and taking an early morning swim, which is interrupted when a hippo drains the pool. Determined to continue, Goofy sets out to find a black rhinoceros. However, the rhino is already aware of his presence, having been tipped off by a pigeon perched on its horn. The rhino charges at Goofy, and despite his attempt to use a gun, Goofy finds the animal too much to handle. He ultimately decides to leave Africa and allows other hunters to pursue the rhino.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 7

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
