Synopsis
In Tangshan in 1976, two seven-year-old twins are buried under the rubble of the deadliest earthquake of the 20th century. A rescue team informs their mother that freeing one child will almost certainly result in the death of the other. Facing the most difficult decision of her life, she ultimately chooses to save her son. Though left behind and presumed dead, the little girl survives miraculously, unknown to her brother and mother.
