Synopsis
Spanish director Álex de la Iglesia, known for films like “Day of the Beast” and “The Last Circus,” is set to make his animation debut with the feature film “Ages of Madness: The Howling of the Jinn.” The project is being developed through 3Doubles Producciones, a Canary Islands-based studio that previously produced Goya Award-nominated works such as “SuperKlaus” and “Norbert.” The film will be produced in collaboration with Bizkaia-based studio Sumendi, though further details about the plot or release timeline have not been disclosed. This marks a new creative direction for de la Iglesia, who has primarily worked in live-action film and television throughout his career.
