A desperate writer hires a typist to help him finish his novel in thirty days, but as their professional relationship turns personal, he finds himself rewriting both his story and his life.

Synopsis
Writer Alex Sheldon must finish his novel within a month, or he will not get paid. If he fails to meet the deadline, angry Mafia figures to whom he owes money will come after him. To speed up the process, Alex hires typist Emma Dinsmore and begins dictating his novel to her. The story centers on a doomed love affair between a character modeled after Alex and another named Polina Delacroix. However, as Alex grows fond of Emma, the direction of his work begins to change.
