Synopsis

Porky learns that Ali-Baba and his gang, the Dirty Sleeves, are planning to attack the fort, and he sets out to warn the others. Upon arriving, he finds the fort empty, as everyone has left for a Legion convention in Boston. Left alone with a rented camel, Porky and his companion manage to hold off the attackers for a time. When the situation becomes critical, the young camel calls upon its mother, who arrives and deals with the most threatening attacker. Meanwhile, the secret weapon, who had been sitting on a bench with an artillery shell strapped to his head, enters the scene but instead of engaging the enemy, he runs straight through the fort and directly into Ali-Baba.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 4

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
