Synopsis
Annabelle is frustrated by family life, particularly by her health-conscious, chain-smoking, and know-it-all mother, Edda, who visits frequently. When Edda moves in for three months due to renovations at her own home, Annabelle seizes the opportunity to go on a "relaxing weekend." During this time, her girlfriend Doro, who was supposed to look after the children, begins an affair with Annabelle's husband, Friedrich. Upon returning, Annabelle is shocked and devastated. She packs her belongings and leaves Friedrich and the family behind. Soon after, she meets a young student at a party, who reignites her sense of passion.
