Among the Almond Trees
Synopsis
Maysan and Iyad, a Syrian couple, work at a Breton fish auction and, along with their daughter, form what appears to be a happy family. They have just received news that their residence permits have been approved. However, the moment is disrupted when Iyad asks a question that his wife wishes she had never heard. The film features strong acting in its exploration of the tensions within their marriage.
