Synopsis
In May 2012, Anathema released *Weather Systems*, the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful album of the band's career. The album received high marks in numerous critics' end-of-year polls worldwide and reinforced Anathema's status as one of the most innovative and progressive bands in the genre. Following the album's release, the band undertook an extensive tour. The European leg began with a one-off performance at the ancient Roman theatre of Philippopolis in September 2012, featuring the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert was filmed by Lasse Hoile, known for his work with Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, and Dream Theater, and the resulting documentary was released as *Universal*.
