Anelka: Misunderstood
Synopsis
Nicolas Anelka is a French former professional footballer known for his career as a forward and his time playing for clubs such as Arsenal, Real Madrid, and AC Milan, as well as the French national team. He was born on December 14, 1979, in Clichy, France. Anelka played in two FIFA World Cups, in 1998 and 2002, and was part of the French squad that won the 1998 World Cup. Over the course of his career, he was recognized for his technical skills and goal-scoring ability, but also drew attention for his controversial behavior both on and off the field, including public outbursts and clashes with teammates and coaches. Anelka retired from professional football in 2016.
