Synopsis
François, an ordinary man, becomes deeply infatuated with a strikingly beautiful woman who picks him up on a train and invites him to spend the weekend with her on the Riviera. However, the next morning, the woman vanishes, and François is arrested by the police and questioned. He soon learns he has been deceived into impersonating Anthony Zimmer, her infamous fugitive husband. Despite being misled and manipulated, François's life is irrevocably altered, and he is willing to sacrifice everything—perhaps even his life—to be with this enigmatic woman once more.
