Synopsis
Twenty years ago, two boys disappeared in the swimming pool at Hulgaard Elementary. Since then, children have been telling stories about a monster said to live at the bottom of the pool. Lars, an 11-year-old victim of school bullies, writes a love letter to the older girl Sherin. When Sherin’s boyfriend, the school’s most notorious bully, discovers the letter, he forces Lars to swim to the bottom of the pool to retrieve a shining coin. Lars, however, is convinced that the monster Aqualorius is waiting in the deep.
