Oleg is a young and talented paramedic whose dedication to his work often overshadows his personal life. His wife, Katya, is a nurse in the hospital's emergency department, where she works alongside Oleg. Though she loves him, she is frustrated by his tendency to prioritize patients over their relationship, and she eventually tells him she wants a divorce. At work, Oleg faces new challenges when a cold and strict manager is appointed as the head of his EMA department, introducing rigid new rules that Oleg finds difficult to accept. He remains focused on saving lives, which puts him at odds with the new leadership. As Oleg struggles with disciplinary issues at work, his personal life is also in turmoil. Navigating the pressures of their demanding jobs, off-shift drinking, and the changing healthcare system, Oleg and Katya must find a way to reconnect and hold their relationship together.
