The film opens with Rosemary lying on the floor of her home, sobbing and heartbroken. The doorbell rings, and a pizza delivery man arrives. Rosemary is unable to stop crying, expressing her longing for love, which has repeatedly failed her. The delivery man offers her an unexpected solution: to forget about love and instead embrace casual, wild sex. The story transitions into a lighthearted montage in which the pizza delivery man teaches Rosemary his approach to a more liberated lifestyle, helping her shed her inhibitions. Believing she has fully embraced this new way of life, Rosemary's confidence is tested when she meets Ned.
