At His Side
Synopsis
Charlotte Kler has lived a comfortable life alongside her husband, renowned conductor Walter Kler, though she has also frequently traveled the world with him. She is hopeful that this phase of constant movement will now end, allowing the family to reunite in Munich. However, her expectations are quickly upended: her husband secretly arranges to take a position in New York, her daughter expresses resentment toward her, and her granddaughter shows little interest in her. It is a difficult beginning for Charlotte. Yet, a chance meeting with a former lifeguard helps her rediscover what truly matters in life.
