Avalon High
Synopsis
Elaine "Ellie" Harrison has recently relocated from Minnesota to Annapolis, Maryland, as her parents embark on a year-long sabbatical to pursue their medieval studies in nearby Washington D.C. Enrolling at Avalon High, Ellie encounters a seemingly typical high school setting populated by familiar archetypes: Lance, the jock; Jennifer, the cheerleader; Marco, the bad boy; and Will, the senior class president, quarterback, and all-around good guy. However, appearances are misleading, not only for the students but also for Ellie herself. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Avalon High is a modern reenactment of the ancient Arthurian legend.
