Synopsis
Count Olgierd Łabiński resides in Paris with his beloved wife, enjoying a tranquil life together. This peace is disrupted by the arrival of Octavius de Saville, a former admirer of the Countess from her time in Florence. Fixated on possessing her, Octavius approaches Dr. Cherbonneau, a sinister individual engaged in Eastern teachings concerning reincarnation. Using the doctor’s occult methods, Octavius attempts a perilous "exchange of souls," plotting to take over the Count’s body in order to claim the woman he desires.
