Synopsis

Three years ago, Benedikt was responsible for a car accident in which a child died. Now, he returns to the scene of the accident, to the small Upper Bavarian village of Baching. Benedikt's return reopens wounds that had only healed on the surface. Six people, all involved in the accident at the time, now struggle to cope with their shared past. The film explores themes of love, death, and home, presented with human warmth and marked by its understated yet striking direction.
