Synopsis
*Back to the Future*, directed by Robert Zemeckis and released in 1985, was a major box-office success that spawned two sequels. The second film, *Back to the Future Part II* (1989), follows Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) as they travel to October 21, 2015. At the time of the film's release, its futuristic inventions appeared highly improbable, though many have since become closer to reality.
