A boy from an orphanage has lot of interest in reading and wants to be like the newspaper delivery boy to the orphanage. A inmate motivates him to do so after coming to know of his wish. The warden refuses to give him permission, so he joins work without his knowledge along with his friends. The boy notices the letters at the Ministers office door lying unattended. Due to his habit, he reads one such letter and is shocked by its content. What has the boy read it that letter that he goes to help selflessly? The main plot of BALL PEN. exposes the troubles of Farmers, women and children due to poverty and superstitions existing in many parts of India.
