Synopsis
In 1930s London, an eccentric explorer named Gum and his gentle niece take in three orphans—Pauline, Petrova, and Posy—and raise them as sisters. When Gum disappears on one of his expeditions, the girls are left to navigate life on their own. They pursue their individual passions for acting, aviation, and ballet in this TV adaptation of Noel Streatfield's novel.
