“Pretty is as pretty DEAD!”
Synopsis
Phyllis Loden is an overweight, shy girl who is frequently bullied by the more popular students at her school. With the annual Slivis Slough Queen Beauty Pageant approaching, Muffy Fairlane is expected to win easily. To prevent any of her friends from finishing last, Muffy enlists Phyllis as a contestant. The plan not only ensures Muffy's victory but also gives the other girls a chance to humiliate Phyllis in front of the school. Matters worsen when Elizabeth McKay, who believes she would have won had she not had an allergic reaction to Phyllis' cat, joins the effort to sabotage her. The girls decide to get rid of the cat, but this act becomes the final provocation, leading Phyllis to embark on a vengeful campaign in which she systematically eliminates the beauty queens one by one.
