Before the Night
Synopsis
Pippo Fava was a Sicilian journalist known for his efforts to combat the Mafia through his work at a local newspaper during the 1970s and early 1980s. His investigative reporting and commitment to exposing organized crime made him a target, and he was ultimately killed in an assassination linked to his activism. His death underscored the dangers faced by journalists in Sicily who challenged powerful criminal networks.
