Synopsis
The narrative explores the circularity of violence, unfolding in a structure that mirrors its theme. In Macedonia, during the war in Bosnia, a group of Christians pursue an ethnic Albanian girl, believing she may be responsible for the death of one of their own. A young monk, having taken a vow of silence, provides her with shelter and protection. Meanwhile, in London, a photographic editor who is pregnant seeks to discuss her situation with her estranged husband, choosing a high-end restaurant as the setting for their conversation.
