Below the Earth's Surface
Synopsis
A series of strange accidents begin to plague a city near a mine, as a funnel forms following the collapse of tunnels beneath a nearby lake. Two people are pulled through the funnel, raising concerns about the stability of the area. Geologist Nina Thiemann investigates and discovers that the mine tunnels are insecure and at risk of further collapse. Accompanied by an expert in explosions and her father, a former miner, she descends into the tunnels in an effort to prevent a larger catastrophe.
