*Live at the Apollo* is a concert film by Ben Harper and The Blind Boys of Alabama, filmed at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, on October 12, 2004. Ben Harper, born on October 28, 1969, is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for blending blues, folk, soul, reggae, and rock in his music. He is recognized for his guitar-playing, vocals, live performances, and activism. Harper has a global fan base, and his albums have achieved commercial success in North America, Europe, and Oceania. He is also a two-time Grammy Award winner, having won for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album in 2005.
