Besuch für Emma
Synopsis
In Berlin, life is vibrant and bustling, but cashier Emma feels deeply lonely. There is nothing inherently wrong with her; she simply retreats into herself within the vast city. Her longing to connect with others leads her to an unusual idea: she places customers' purses in the supermarket and later introduces herself as a friendly finder, inviting them to collect their belongings at a prepared table. Unfortunately, these encounters are brief. Only the observant homeless man August, who sees through her act, begins to take an interest in Emma.
