A neurotic widower is forced to orchestrate his estranged lover’s daughter’s high‑stakes wedding, battling a gun‑bearing, kebab‑chain clan from Adana to keep the ceremony—and their fragile relationship—intact.
Synopsis
Fikret, a neurotic man, and Solmaz, a tavern singer, find their 21-year-long relationships ending on the same day, only to cross paths again through a humorous coincidence. When Solmaz's daughter, Zeynep, decides to marry her lover from Adana, the anxious Fikret is thrust into the role of his life. Initially intended to be a small, family-only event, the wedding grows in scale due to the demands of the groom's relatives. The question remains: can Fikret and Solmaz navigate the challenges posed by the traditional Adana family—known for carrying guns and owning a kebab restaurant chain—and ensure the wedding proceeds without incident?
