Synopsis
Dr. Laura Bowman is a young widow who becomes unintentionally entangled in political unrest during a vacation in Burma in the late 1980s. She had traveled to San Francisco with her sister in an effort to move past the traumatic memories of her husband and son's violent deaths. However, her attempt to flee to Thailand may prove just as perilous.
