Synopsis

Set in the post‑war Catalan countryside, the story follows Andreu, a child on the losing side of the conflict, who discovers the bodies of a man and his son in a forest. Authorities seek to hold his father responsible for the deaths, prompting Andreu to investigate the true perpetrator. During this search he develops a moral awareness amid an adult world sustained by deception. To survive, he betrays his own origins and ultimately confronts the monster within himself.
