Synopsis
Deputy Sheriff Jane Kozik, a widow, relocates to Black Stone, New York, with her daughter Kelsey, hoping to find a safer environment. Shortly after their arrival, a homeless man is discovered dead in the tool shed of Jane's blind friend, Beverly. An entomologist named Katherine is called in to assist with the investigation, along with Devin, Jane's brother-in-law and former boyfriend. At the same time, Kelsey forms a friendship with Eli, a scientist who developed genetically modified wasps for the army as a weapon and is now working to reverse the process. When the wasps attack Black Stone, Jane, Devin, and Eli join forces to try to destroy the swarm.
