Synopsis

In a distant technological future, civilization has evolved into a fully network-based form. A past "infection" caused automated systems to malfunction, leading to a multi-leveled city structure that replicates infinitely in all directions. Humanity has since lost access to the city's controls and is now hunted and purged by an automated defense system known as the Safeguard. In a small corner of the city, a struggling enclave called the Electro-Fishers faces imminent extinction, caught between the threat of the Safeguard and dwindling food supplies. A girl named Zuru sets out on a journey to find food for her village, but inadvertently triggers a crisis when an observation tower detects her presence and summons a Safeguard pack to eliminate the perceived threat. With her companions dead and escape routes sealed, Zuru's only hope is the unexpected arrival of Killy the Wanderer, who is on a quest to find the Net Terminal Genes, the key to restoring order to the world.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 33

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
