Synopsis
Canaan, a mysterious gunfighter who was left nearly blind from injuries sustained during the Civil War, travels through Mexico with a baby he has vowed to protect. While making his way to a town where the child is to be adopted by a family, Canaan passes through a border town where U.S. Cavalry officers tasked with delivering a shipment of silver are being attacked by bandits. Despite his reluctance, Canaan intervenes to assist the soldiers.
